The big issue here, is that we spend most of our day connected to user interfaces that are designed to maximize ad revenue rather than truth or a stable democracy.

The solution is not to tinker with Google and Facebook, or to regulate them or break them up. The solution is to put a friendly bot (that you pay for, looking out for your interests) between you and the tech giants.
